Resort owners in scenic Bagac are readying themselves for the influx of tourists any season of the year and meet many challenges in the tourism industry.
The Department of Tourism conducted a three-day training for 41 members of Bagac Beach and Inland Resort Owners Association (BBIROA) on housekeeping standard practices, sanitation, pest control, bed making, and occupational hazards.
The trainor, Freddie Quinito of DOT, tackled the Filipino brand of service excellence. “This initiative marks a step forward in the alignment and standardization of quality service among Bagac’s tourism workforce, contributing to the broader scope of excellence in tourism service throughout Bataan and Central Luzon,” the organizer said in statement in its social media page.
Ms. Edna Fajardo, BBIROA president, said the enrichment session was aimed at elevating the quality of frontline service in Bagac’s hospitality industry.
